      Pros

      Close to home, easy commute. Flexible hours. Decent compensation. Not a highly political or back-stabbing environment, most of peers are nice.

      Cons

      No job security, constant layoffs for no apparent reason. Virtually no hiring. No longer much growth opportunity in R&D. Projects not interesting or cutting-edge.

      Pay is not on par with competition and raises are very hard to get. If you don't get what you are looking for when hired you will likely never get it.
