Pros

Used to be one of the greatest companies to work for. Not any more.

Cons

Since Ursula Burns became CEO, the Xerox management approach and mentality have changed drastically in many ways from the way it used to be. Ursula promotes "service" (i.e. call support centers hosted by offshore resources, etc., the areas which she is "comfortable" with), and lets go of many talented individual in the Engineering and Printing sectors of the business. To reduce cost, hiring off-shore resources (e.g. India, etc.) to replace many highly skilled, long-time loyal Xerox employees became the new "business as usual" mentality as soon as she took over office. To further "cut costs", she sold entire engineering divisions to offshore Indian contracting companies which turned around to contract work for Xerox. Those who stay on have tremendous pressure to put in long hours otherwise their jobs may be replaced with cheaper offshore equivalents. Ursula Burns practically single handedly dragged Xerox to the ground instead of investing in what it was the leader at and had excellent potential in the future (eg. 3D printing). What a shame. There should be another "Fumbling the Future Part II" to describe the ordeals Xerox employees have been put through under Ursula Burns leadership, and how Xerox is not a leader in 3D printing and its name has lost its meaning.

Pros

Big company with solid benefits

Cons

Pay is not on par with competition and raises are very hard to get. If you don't get what you are looking for when hired you will likely never get it.
