Terrible micro managing from team leads and engineering managers. Decision making takes far too long for simple things that can be resolved with a quick conversation. We have some pretty technical team leads that sometimes forget their role should be people focused rather than trying to play engineering or architects they impaired product development more than enable the engineering team members from delivering good solid work.
