Pros

Working here has been a truly life-changing experience. The company is small and friendly, with a family-like atmosphere that the owners genuinely foster. They are involved, supportive, and treat everyone with respect and care. Everyone works from home, offering an incredible balance of flexibility and trust. Most employees have been with the company long-term, which speaks volumes about the positive work environment. It’s rare to find a workplace that values its employees this much. Highly recommend!

Cons

Honestly, I don’t have any cons to share. This company has exceeded all my expectations.

Pros

Xerillion is how small companies used to be 30 to 40 years ago and has been one of the absolute best places that I have ever been a part of. Leadership is honest and fair from the top down. Work life balance is taken seriously here. They have a real interest in the well being of employees and want us all to be happy and productive. Simply said, they are a fair company that actually cares about the workforce. It's a rare rare thing these days!

Cons

Not a darn one that I can think of!

Pros

I had worked in the consulting field for over 10 years when I moved to Chicago, and had been employed at another consulting firm when I applied to Xerillion. When I started I did feel a little swamped at first but started to find my way and I was easily able to adapt to the job and its requirements with the help of the owner. The compensation was excellent with a bonus program that allowed for additional pay based on performance that I had not seen at any other consulting company. The staff that worked there, were a great bunch of people with whom I’m still friends. They also have some amazing clients again with whom I became friends with. There was a lot of driving involved, but I was provided with a navigation system and Satellite radio for the car which made for an easier drive time. I was also very impressed by the personal service provided to the customers by company and its desire to provide an encompassing solution to their needs.

Cons

It can be a lot of driving and some late evenings, but as an IT consultant that is expected. If you aren’t used to it, it will take some time to adjust.

Thank you very much for the review. I was really glad to see that you enjoyed working here with the team and the clients. You raise a good point for prospective candidates as field techs at Xerillion: sometimes internal IT people do have a tougher transition than techs that have previously worked in the field as the pace is much faster. You'll get exposed to a wide array of networks and industries. Your troubleshooting skills will be well honed. It is true that there is a lot of driving - usually 2 stops a day, or at the office if you are not at a client. Thanks again for your review and I'm glad you enjoyed your time here. Wayne Chapin
