Pros
I've never done a Glassdoor review before but I felt compelled in this case as I wish I would have known this information before joining the company. XME has a ton of potential and can be great in the future if things change. In its current state, it's a very confusing, frustrating and friction filled experience on a day to day basis. Management actually is awesome and they really care about employees. it's my opinion that all the issues are stemming from lack of resources and unrealistic expectations from the PE firm that owns Xcentric Mold.
-fascinating industry
-Base pay
-PTO
-Immediate management really cares and is doing their best (private equity owned, tons of pressure and little resources)
-potential to make lots of money in sales if things turn around
Cons
-****commission clarity is non existent***
-completely unrealistic goals
-sporadic quota and territory changes with no warning (3 territory/quota changes in 6 months)
-no ramp for quota
-extremely difficult working with other departments
-commission plan is very confusing
-Private equity owned, culture is challenging (all about the bottom line)
-equipment provided is very subpar
-tech stack is very bad
-alot more than standard 9-5 (I expected this but might be important for someone considering the company)
- almost 0 training
