      Pros

      Working remotely creates a very good work/life balance.

      Cons

      The managers that I worked with were not competent at their job. They lost one of their clients and decided to trim existing contractors without any notice. There is not culture in the team - everyone works on their own and knowledge sharing does not exist. They require you to track your hours which are reviewed very strictly by the management team. After working for 1 year, I asked for 1 week holiday - my contract was terminated 1 day before my holiday was supposed to begin.

      I'm really sorry to hear your experience was not positive. The experience you describe is very at odds with our culture and policies. We're very supportive of Team Members taking the time off they need, even in some cases extended leaves of absence if requested (over a month). I'm not personally familiar with this situation from my 2+ years at XWP, so I can only guess it is from our first 18 months of operation. I hope things have worked out for the very best for you in your journey forward!

      Pros

      While working at XWP I had the opportunity to work alongside some insanely talented and passionate teammates. The culture and the people are such a huge part of what makes this company so great to be a part of.

      Cons

      Global distribution can sometimes mean odd working hours.

      Pros

      Opportunities for contractors to work with top talent on many enterprise scale projects that are both technical and strategic opportunities. Great agile practices were followed and the teams were very considerate and they supported healthy collaborations and passionate continuous learning.

      Cons

      Sometimes the volume of work would ebb and flow and do while the projects were great sometimes a gap in available work would drop and so as contractors that was a con.
