Pros

Co-workers were fun to work with, laid back dress code, decent pay.

Cons

XPO Logistics has a bad reputation among customers and carriers, good luck landing any of them. Management is worthless, they don't care about their employees just making sure their numbers look good and the CEO is obsessed with inflating stock prices. There is NO incentive program for employees. The monthly "social" budget is a joke. You are promoted based on luck. You're performance is not considered whatsoever. You just need to be in the right place at the right time. You work 10 hour days, even if you are not in a supervisor position with no overtime pay. Not sure that is legal? They will think of every reason why you are not eligible for a raise or a bonus. The commission structure is another joke. They make it impossible to hit your numbers. There were never any formal reviews. They are submitted online but no one ever sat you down and talked with you. My manager gave me an outstanding review, but the COO sent it back to him, telling him it was "too generous" and it needed to be changed. Basically asking him to lie about my performance so they wouldn't have to give us raises. Positions are mainly stagnate with no career opportunities. Ironically, COO's and many HR representatives have left the company. Sounds kind of sketchy.

Pros

I have enjoyed my time with XPO and appreciate the opportunities the company has provided for both personal and professional growth. The team environment is supportive, and I've had the chance to build strong relationships with coworkers and customers over the years. One of the things I value most is that hard work and dedication are recognized. Every day brings new challenges, which keeps the job interesting and allows me to continue learning. Leadership encourages employees to find solutions and work together to provide excellent customer service. Like any large company, there are busy periods and opportunities for improvement, but overall, XPO offers a solid career path, competitive benefits, and the chance to make a real impact. If you're someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is willing to put in the effort, XPO can be a rewarding place to build a career.

Cons

The transportation industry is constantly changing, so employees need to be adaptable and able to handle shifting priorities. Workloads can be demanding at times, but the teamwork and customer relationships make it rewarding
