Pros

Great people in both IT and the business - friendly, collaborative, smart, funny, dedicated. Interesting work - software that's used away from a desk, on a truck or a loading dock

Cons

Things are falling apart since the acquisition of Con-way by XPO Logistics in October of 2015. Terrible executives who talk the talk of being a development-driven company but don't want to spend any time or money doing development right. They just want quick results and don't understand how our systems could be so much harder to work with than configuring Salesforce. Had a disastrous implementation a year ago that should never have gone to production. Still putting out fires, working long hours, taking the quick-and-dirty approach to fixing things. Morale is low, people are exhausted.

Pros

Great benefits and senior leadership has a goal to provide excellent service, competitive pay, and recognition for hard working team players, looking to put their best foot forward every day.

Cons

Can be stressful at times when working in logistics, but this is common in the industry and often more related to fluctuations in economic factors.

Pros

I have enjoyed my time with XPO and appreciate the opportunities the company has provided for both personal and professional growth. The team environment is supportive, and I've had the chance to build strong relationships with coworkers and customers over the years. One of the things I value most is that hard work and dedication are recognized. Every day brings new challenges, which keeps the job interesting and allows me to continue learning. Leadership encourages employees to find solutions and work together to provide excellent customer service. Like any large company, there are busy periods and opportunities for improvement, but overall, XPO offers a solid career path, competitive benefits, and the chance to make a real impact. If you're someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is willing to put in the effort, XPO can be a rewarding place to build a career.

Cons

The transportation industry is constantly changing, so employees need to be adaptable and able to handle shifting priorities. Workloads can be demanding at times, but the teamwork and customer relationships make it rewarding
