I worked at Xeta for 13 years (1993 to 2006). During my time there, I went through a lot of ups and downs — just like anything else in life. I was promoted 4 times, and given a raise and a bonus every year. I was even given stock options! I left just before the company was acquired. After 13 years, I was too comfortable in my job and wanted to test myself in a new position. Now — 13 years later, I realize what a GREAT company XETA was. I find myself comparing all other companies against XETA — and none are as good as XETA was.
Cons
New management really shook things up when they arrived — and not for the better! Jack Ingram passed away and was replaced with even more new management — and the company became more “corporate” than “family”. After the company was acquired by a BIG, well known telecommunications company, the family atmosphere was gone for good. Now it’s just like all the other companies out there...
