Pros
Remote work culture when I first joined was amazing. Empathetic leaders, remote team activities and swag, unique D&I initiatives, focus on async work, focus weeks, smart colleagues, etc.
Cons
There a lot of inefficiencies in the business. Many initiatives to improve processes ended up moving at a very slow pace, and at times it was challenging to move projects forward. There is a strong sense of collaboration, which is a great thing, but oftentimes having to get buy-in from so many different teams ended up delaying projects timelines unnecessarily. At previous jobs, I was used to getting responses pretty quickly- at Twitter, I had to get used to waiting a couple of days sometimes to hear back.
