Pros

- Salary was very competitive at time of joining but this may have changed now with the current tech industry trends - Full work from home meant good work/ life balance - International team with a wealth of breadth and experience with most people at lateral levels willing to pitch in and help out. Senior management underneath c-levels want the best and try to advocate where they can

Cons

- Executive level management seem completely distant/ unengaged with what the company does and what the product is i.e. a platform for grocery retailers - Positions in company hierarchy seem to be quite rigid with no real opportunity for internal advancement. This makes Wynshop a good place to hone your current level before moving on. Not a place to stay - Full work from home can be a bit isolating at times, no real connection to colleagues. This makes tough conversations even harder due to a keyboard warrior effect - Siloed teams leads to a lot of Us v. Them mentality which makes tough conversations even harder. Seems to come from the top on a fundamental disagreement on strategy. Goal posts are always changing

Pros

Good benefits, hands-on team leaders who care about professional development.

Cons

Upper management seemed increasingly disconnected from the workforce, with limited communication and little evidence of concern for employee well-being. Over the past several years, raises were minimal or nonexistent, despite increasing workloads and rising expectations. Layoffs and restructuring became a regular occurrence, creating a constant sense of instability and uncertainty. While my coworkers were fantastic and dedicated, the lack of support from leadership ultimately made it difficult to feel valued or secure in my role. I hope the company takes steps to address these issues and better prioritize its employees in the future.
