Pros

The team is inclusive, collaborative, funny, innovative, & all-around great. I truly value their expertise & the power of the platform. There's a reason so many incredible accounts trust the team with their web development.

Cons

There's a lot of work felt among the services side of things - but not overall a huge con.

Pros

There is incredibly opportunity at Offerpop. You have the ability to mingle with upper leadership, rise in the ranks, have your voice heard. If you are a go-getter and want to be a part the social marketing scene, this is a good place to be. Offerpop doesn't have an in-your-face company culture, but people enjoy genuinely enjoy working here. Wendell definitely sets the tone for the culture overall: down-to-earth, smart people who do solid work and like to have fun. There might not be incredible perks that other tech companies have, but the group of people here and tone set by Wendell is more valuable than unlimited free food. The company is also growing tremendously and there are lofty goals for 2014. The growth trajectory is exciting. Also, for a company that is under pressure to grow and perform, the work/life balance at Offerpop is pretty good.

Cons

Offerpop has a lot of potential to be one of the best places to work. There are definitely a lot improvements that need to be made but you will be hard pressed to find a better overall work environment. Yes, there are stressful moments, long hours at times, frustrations about coworkers, etc. but that happens wherever you are. There will always be shifting priorities and frustrations -- that's the nature of an emerging business. If you want to work for a company that isn't changing things up and constantly improving upon itself, don't work in the start up scene.
