Pros
Easy job and easy work (hard to think of any more pros)
Cons
1. Horrible management: The managers do NOT have adequate scientific background and are not willing to listen to people who have credentials. You have to listen to people's nonsense all day long and watch coworkers kiss up to managers. 2. Awkward social environment: Coworkers are viewing you as a competitor and may look for an opportunity to backstab you. 3. Underpaid!!! 4. No room to advance your career unless you are willing to play dumb and pretend to be an admirer of the managers. 5. If you are NOT white, good luck! 6. Inflexible work schedule: Most of times, you are not busy at all. But you have to pretend to be busy and could not go home early. A lot of employees are required to work on weekend schedule but no manager appears on weekend! 7. VERY BAD for your mental health.
