Micro management. Back to back classes = no time for teachers to enjoy a short break or quick bite. Heavy workload. High turnover rate. High pressure to retain students.

As we are scaling and expanding, we monitor the attrition number very closely and we have been successful in keeping the attrition number to below 3% every month. To improve employee welfare, Write Edge has rolled out many new initiatives in the past year such as, Team Bonding, Cross-functional Meetings, Teacher Huddles, Teacher Bonding Events. With these and future programs, coupled with our continuous feedback system, we hope to continue keep our employee engagement and retention healthy. Pros

Convenient location Small centres, few students, low crowds

Cons

Poor leadership Company only interested in earning dollars, sometimes at the expense of what they can provide as an education centre. Materials are used over and over again every year. Teachers are not screened properly. Health conditions of teachers are not screened. Some teachers can barely remember student's progress and names. Frequent changing of teachers.

Cons

Turnover is high so workflow can be affected.
