Pros

You are working with smart people. Global working environment allow you to travel around the globe. They held multiple international conference every year, mostly held in EU to help with jetlag. You can relocate to anywhere any time to any of their office in the world, and they will to pay you money for it. Light workload with lot of downtime in a year if you are good at time managerment. Very competitive salaries.

Cons

Long interview process. It's a hedgefund full of gambler so the company politics always surround how much money we make or lost. If "we have a great year" you have great work life balance. If the company losing its gambling money, be prepare being micro managering everything. Back-stab, extortion, blackmailing are common in the office. HR and Middle managers are talented Politican just like you are talented as an engineer and they are really good at getting people into trouble.

Pros

Opportunity to work with extremely bright and driven colleagues. Strong emphasis on technology and data-driven decision-making. Competitive compensation packages and great office perks in the Austin tech hub.

Cons

The workload can be intense with high expectations for delivery. The proprietary nature of the work means using many in-house tools rather than industry-standard open source. Can feel siloed depending on which specific project or team you are assigned to.
