Pros

Fast paced environment; use of leading edge technology and great collaboration tools; the company embarked in an Agile transformation close to two years ago under the leadership of Jeff Smith (COO) , and the results are outstanding; although there are things to improve, the cultural change has been remarkable, with a great focus on talent and learning from the best. Jeff is an inspirational leader, with a very clear vision, and committed to excellence; he motivates people to do their best, to be passionate about their craft and to have very challenging goals in order to be the best versions of themselves.

Cons

Some old schools that don't support the transformation.

We love hearing about the positive experiences our teammates have had working for WFS. To a manager, there’s no greater compliment, and I encourage you to let yours know personally about your experience, if you haven’t already. Strong communication across teams is one of our core values at World Fuel Services — and that includes letting us know what’s working and where we can improve, so please keep up the feedback and communication!

Pros

Great coworkers who genuinely supported one another and created a strong team atmosphere. Fast-paced environment where every day mattered and you learned to think quickly and work under pressure.

Cons

Shift work can be challenging, and the workload is often very busy. Because it is an operations-focused role, the work can become repetitive over time with fewer opportunities for long-term projects or process improvement initiatives.
