Pros
- You get to work from your own country if the project is in your region, as it was my case. - You get good conditions, compared to other places. - STC contracts are a great way for junior professionals to grab experience at the World Bank.
Cons
- STC contracts should reflect the reality: most of us work full-time, most of the fiscal year, and should be extended to 200 days or something along the lines. - Your salary is very different from a Staff position.
