Pros

Some nice people. No real positives here

Cons

Feels like a really toxic place. Mentally draining and really takes a toll on stress levels. Workload is constant and very high without any real support, pay quite low as well. Expected to do extra work and if needed extra hours to finish without support or pay for extra time. People treated differently depending on if you're managers or not, depending on your gender, depending on if you've asked for support that they won't give you. Company with lots of ambition but in practice not equipped to do anything beyond a small company on a farm.

Thank you for your comments. We take feedback seriously and are always looking to make improvements to the way we work. However, we do currently have functions in place to help team members who are struggling, these include having on-site mental health first aiders, an employee assistance program and monthly 1-2-1s with direct line managers. Regarding pay and equal opportunities, we are affiliated with the Real Living Wage and have recently been accredited as an official Great Place to Work. These areas were targeted as part of this accreditation and were not highlighted as concerns from our current team. 45% of our leadership team are women and 65% of our remaining managers are women. We are ambitious, but know that change takes careful planning and time. We have made and are continuing to make progress on our journey and we do whatever we can to ensure our whole team are happy, engaged and have the opportunity to grow with the company.

Pros

Lots of autonomy and relaxed management - everyday is different and the projects are really fun to work on!

Cons

You get punished by doing your job well and management is super sneaky and tell everyone a different version of things. They tend to save face constantly but telling you what you want to hear and then turning around and working against you. The main boss is also sleeping with another employee from lots of rumors so that makes the environment really political and messy - way too much drama

Pros

Since joining Workplace Interiors, I’ve genuinely enjoyed my time here. In previous roles, I often felt unsupported and unsettled, but that completely changed when I joined this company. The people here are friendly, approachable, and great to work with. My team and line manager are incredibly supportive and actively help me develop and succeed in my role. There’s real potential for growth, and I feel backed every step of the way. I also really value how transparent the company directors are. They keep everyone informed about business performance, future plans, and how each of us contributes to the bigger picture. It makes you feel connected to the company’s journey. The office environment is unique and genuinely enjoyable, our office coordinator does a fantastic job keeping things running smoothly, and the small touches like the snack bar and flavoured water make a difference. Even during busy or stressful times, there’s always support available. The leadership programmes for managers have had a noticeable, positive impact on how teams are led and how we work together. The social events are varied and inclusive, not everything revolves around alcohol, which helps everyone feel welcome. Overall, Workplace Interiors has provided the most positive work experience I’ve had. The culture, support, and people truly make it a great place to work.

Cons

It can be a fast-paced environment at times, and as the company continues to grow, some processes are still evolving. Workload can fluctuate depending on project demands, but the support from the team helps keep things manageable.
