Pros

Great office, 2x a year in-person gatherings, good benefits and nice colleagues

Cons

Working here is becoming increasingly mentally draining. The constant talk of 'ship faster!!' and 'everyone's a builder!' with no clear product vision just doesn't make sense. Sure we can ship faster, but what exactly are we shipping? It feels like we just build features that benefit our own managers instead of customers. Leadership wants us to embrace AI tools but doesn't give us the time to learn them, we're expected to do this on our own time. FYI, most of us have families and lives outside of work that don't revolve around AI. Speaking of AI, our main product strategy is to slap it on everything and hope it sticks. 'The AI-powered platform'. Listen, every company is doing this, we're not special... I also feel like leadership is become more secretive about the state of the business. We used to have regular all-hands where we could ask questions, get an overview of where we're at financially etc, those went away and now we just get random email updates from our CEO. Every year since I've worked here there's been a re-org/layoffs and a lot of us are fully expecting the next one to happen soon.

Pros

best vision, advantages and managers

Cons

Hard to evolve, they will not promote internally for the jobs of managers. they prefer to hire external people that don't know the compagny at all.
