Workhorse has some great people! Workhorse’s vision for electric and hybrid delivery vehicles is one of the best applications for electric vehicles. Because it is small, you may have opportunities to work in roles that you may not have the experience for at other employers.
Cons
The pressure to get a vehicle from prototype to production in a short amount of time with very little funding means that a lot of corners are cut. Good engineers are forced to turn in work that is subpar and move on to the next task. Cash flow is constantly affecting other departments being able to perform their jobs. The business was founded by a guy who helped a lot of friends out by giving them jobs. Oftentimes this meant that good people are in roles that they aren’t qualified for. It also means that a few truly bad apples still hold on to their jobs even though they don’t perform.
