Trigger-happy with sacking people off. Worked their for a grand sum of one day, and unfortunately was ill on my second day there. Not something anyone wants to be, trust me I understand the optics of it, but I informed them as early as I could that day and had every willpower to return to my job ASAP. The same day, around lunch, the directors had met and chosen to sack me as they: "had experienced 'this type' of behaviour before." I'll mention, this was very much in the heart of COVID, and this type of cutthroat behaviour wasn't something I'd ever have expected. I found it absolutely disgusting and a monumental waste of everyone's time. Would only recommend working here if you're absolutely desperate. Half the staff seemed like the stereotypical "recruitment worker", and if you're aware of that stereotype you'll be keen to steer clear.
