Pros

I've joined WorkOS because I wanted to be part of a smaller company and work with smart and capable people building a product that I believe in, WorkOS is just that. We have very few meetings (as an engineer), we are fully remote, the main type of communication is async which gives me a lot of focus hours if I need. As an engineer focused company (building a product for engineers), we can participate in product decisions and build a great developer experience for our customers.

Cons

Nothing WorkOS specific so far (~6 months in), but it's a startup and it comes with uncertainty, roadmap changes, and processes that are not yet so mature.

Pros

Incredible project management and communication. Every team member is so welcoming and kind. I've been here 6 months and am very much enjoying it!

Cons

So far I don't have any cons - especially since working with them for my maternity leave and their introduction of NYC commuter benefits

Pros

- We're winning the AI market (dozens and dozens of high profile AI companies), and is fun to sell to developers who have a real need for the product to scale rapidly - Land and expand usage model allows us to win quickly, with some companies blowing through their 12 mo contracted credits in 3 mo (good for us) - Plenty of opportunity to take ownership and make a real impact - Overall, it’s a place where you can do meaningful work, learn quickly, and be part of something that's taking off

Cons

- That said, like any fast-growing company, there’s still iteration happening around segmentation, pricing, and sales process - Eng is shipping so quickly there's always more to sell, but at different stages of readiness - Things can change quickly, which is great if you’re adaptable and a builder, but frustrating if you want to run an established old school playbook
