Pros

Work Better is a shared office provider with four locations in NYC and one in Chicago. Because management can't be at all places at all times, they trust their employees to act professionally, while giving them freedom to not always have a boss breathing down their neck. It's not overly demanding work, but there are opportunities for growth in your position and a great "foot in door" job if you're looking to start a career in a client-facing position.

Cons

It might get a bit boring or repetitive at times. You won't be able to spend much time with your co-workers at other centers, but there's typically always a really fun happy hour each month for all the employees.

Pros

Work Better is a great place to work if you're looking for a small dedicated team environment where everyone works really well together in order to deliver an exception product. There is a lot of growth potential as you get to work hand in hand with most every facet of the business. The small team dynamic feels more like a family and the upper management fosters a sense of ownership in your role. The culture is great here and I look forward to coming to work each morning.

Cons

Not much to say here. Maybe more vacation accrual time after 2 years of employment and not 3 years. But overall the benefits are really good.

Pros

Health insurance is included part of your employment.

Cons

Horrible communication between leaders and staff. Expect your job description and role to change every two seconds. Everyone is unhappy. No compensation for sales and bonuses. Even though you are told on paper you are given possible bonuses. Don't expect it because there will be a reason for why you did not achieve and receive your bonus. Leaders openly speak about employees being terminated or ask mutual colleagues about their opinions. This will be used against each other. No one should feel threatened for their jobs. There is no real HR and this is managed by bias-passively aggressive individuals. Company tries have the facade of a innovative startup mentality. Far from the 'it place' you would want to work at. Most of the time this company charges clients obnoxiously and cheats the clients by locking them into contracts. This company weighs it's options to either evict a client by how much they pay and if the client is up-to-par to the co-founders liking. Company has a clause in clients contracts with repercussions to not hire OfficeLinks personal. Be aware this won't be in your personal contract when you start working for the company. Stay far away.
