Pros
Probably the best department to work for is ECE. Most of the professor seem to really care about their tutors. I really loved working there.
Cons
Workload can overwhelming at times, if you are tutoring a large class with labs. Department does not pay you more that 10h/week even if you work more, which always happens during finals season. Also, I am really sorry to say this but pay is to laugh at. It is pretty much a minimum wage job. I realize most students do it for the experience but there are others who actually need the money and they are forced to take other part-time jobs that are not related to their major and which affect negatively their prospective career goals
