Pros

Great exposure and learned a lot.

Cons

The Boston office is an old boys club. In an office of 20ish we had max 6 women, two of which were admins and only non-white person in the whole office. The way women are discussed and the frequency they are fired for things like becoming pregnant are unconscious-able. Managers favored men and promoted men more frequently. Expected to work 12+ hours a day in the office, including time on the weekends and vacations. I actually was reprimanded for not working enough on vacation and the weekends. Also reprimanded for asking for a women’s version of office issued gear, by both women and men Managing Directors and a VP. Lastly, not family friendly as people compete for most time in the office so many of the dads must have missed seeing their kids the whole day. Cannot believe I lasted two years in this toxic work environment before leaving for a much higher paying job. A year later this place still give me nightmares

Pros

Pay is good and you do get a lot of time off, but if you don’t love wearing a *red hat* this is not the place for you.

Cons

Toxic work environment. Upper management is hard-core political in the office with posters everywhere and it can be really offputting since they will silence you. The field guys make the ladies in the back uncomfortable and executive branch does nothing about it. Everyone said it used to be such an amazing company, but in the past two years it’s really gone downhill fast. Zero outlook in their pipeline.
