-Positive work environment -Great involvement in many aspects of NGO procedures -Opportunity to learn a great deal about human rights in Latin America

- There were no salient cons with my experience at WFP - Limited funding (which is ubiquitous with most NGOs) - Headquarter location

Witness is super grassroots and can give you a lot of freedom and flexibility to do your job. If you want to work closely with human rights defenders, social movement, and civil society organizations in Latin America, this is the organization for you.

The low pay is fine while you're in Latin America but challenging if you need/want to go to the US. International team members have burned out because of the challenging work environment.
