Pros

Care Partners are very supportive of one another prior to being promoted to management. Your paycheck arrives on time and you work remotely.

Cons

Managment has been very successful at creating a very toxic and stressful work environment despite it being a remote position. It is cliquish and demoralizing to work with mentally abusive managers while trying to help clients in recovery. Managers lie and twist situations to create employee files to use against Care Partners. Care Partners are powerless and the blank rolls downhill right on top of the Care Partners. Care Partners are expected to provide a much higher level of care than they are compensated for and then they are tasked with all of the administrative tasks that others do not wish to do. Their Slack communication system is an absolute NIGHTMARE!

Pros

"Flexible" work schedule, opportunities for part and full time work Excellent clinical care for clients Wonderful professionals and professional expertise

Cons

If you are in clinical, you are on your own at Within. You will receive very little support from clinical leadership- they don't attend important meeting, they don't support you emotionally, they are not extremely responsive to questions or concerns, they struggle holding boundaries with their own caseload which impacts the milieu. Leadership is extremely cliquish and overall there are a lot favorites- if you aren't a favorite, you aren't valued. Unlimited PTO is a joke as you get no support from your manager if you need to take time off for an emergency- it's still on you to reschedule all of your sessions/clients even if there is a death in the family. Caseloads, like any other ED program, are growing unmanageable and compensation is sub par. Little opportunity for career growth.
