Pros
Being a part of a small company really keeps me close to the decision making process and is really expanding my knowledge of running a business. For the first time I have input that is heard and acted upon. Small daily tasks make large waves and it feels great knowing that future is depends on me. Our CEO is helps push me further and always pushing me to get better. He provides resources to help win business and always willing to share a book to learn something new. Compensation is fair. Salary plus a residual commission allows you to really build a book of business for yourself that will grow your income every year.
Cons
Like anything that is new, there is trial and error. What works one week doesn't quite work the next so building momentum can be difficult The company has to be thoughtful with where and how resources are spent Bad days happen and because we are a small company they can sometime feel worse than they really are(I think this is more of my competitive side coming out)
