Pros

The culture is one of the best I've ever seen where management trusts the employees to make decisions and people genuinely care. My boss called me while I was at the hospital to make sure I was ok when I went for surgery and told me to take extra time off when I was recovering. The way I would describe the Wishabi team are people who love working hard together but genuinely are having fun doing what they're doing. In terms of the office there's food and snacks and we also do alot of stuff together as a team like volleyball and basketball. The ping pong competitions are also epic. As a developer one of the best things I get to do every day is work on big projects that impact millions of consumers. The stuff we're working on is really amazing.

Cons

There aren't too many cons but what I do see is that if people don't fit the culture then they are moved from the team pretty quickly. We also have a work hard play hard culture and it's definitey not for people without passion for what they do.

Pros

The people are awesome, very supportive, and really welcoming. The projects are very interesting and people who do well are given more responsibility and opportunity to take on more interesting projects. People who are doing a great job get recognized and rewarded. The flat structure means that everyone is in contact with the executive team and they can ask questions or get feedback without going through many levels of managers. There is a flexible work schedule, meaning that people can take time off when they need it or work from home without any prior approvals. The company perks are great too - Friday lunches, snacks, ski trips and tickets completely paid for by the company. When employees are struggling in their roles there is a heavy focus on helping them improve before any changes are made to the team. I've never worked anywhere else where the people were so consistently fun and highly skilled.

Cons

The company is growing very quickly, and because of the focus on hiring both for skills and culture fit, it can take a while to find the right people. This means that some teams are understaffed. However, Management is very understanding of this and the company is actively recruiting for these roles. Expectations on performance are high, and that means that some hires don't work out, or the company just simply isn't right for everyone. I don't really see this as a con, however.

Pros

Free Friday lunch. Great benefits (eye, dental, health), amazing group of people. The people here are so great. You want to do a good job just so you don't let anyone down. It is a very good team oriented atmosphere. You will always have great and interesting conversations with everyone there. Laughter is always heard in the office. They stress the importance of hard work but also give you opportunities to play hard by providing a ping pong table, fooseball table, a play station as well as weekend summer and winter trip getaways with the whole team. The flex time is amazing. You can work from home on days that you need to or go to appointments when you need to. As long as you get your work done and are still efficient with your work load. You can book vacation time easily as long as you are a good worker and give advance notice.

Cons

Because it is still a fairly new company, not all the policies are set in stone. It is very hard to get a full bonus for every single term. You feel like you have to constantly prove yourself to be good enough for the job. You sometimes fear for your job security due to the constant coming and going of new hires. The work load is uneven as some people have much more work than others. You don't always get recognized for the hard work that you do but are commonly remembered for when you make small mistakes.
