Pros

You work remotely, and you can get away with doing the minimum.

Cons

Don’t make yourself suffer for a job that will fire you over little to no reason. Leadership in CX is a joke, they don’t know what they are doing and it’s obvious to the entire team, as well as toxic and unprofessional. A chimpanzee could do their job better. There is no team morale and it’s awkward talking to teammates. Your mental health will suffer working here. They expect you to go above and beyond with no pay raise or recognition.

Pros

Remote work, some coworkers actually care and are helpful.

Cons

Selfish, ego-driven leaders, especially in product, sales, and marketing, all the way up to the ceo. People are promoted waaayyyyy beyond their abilities. The entire executive team is incapable of managing others let alone their own workloads. It’s not rocket science why great people have left only to be replaced by bald bumps on logs. The company is cheap, no companywide bonuses or 401k matching. Parental leave is a joke and most have kids during their time so they don’t have to work for peanuts. If you don’t brownnose up the chain, prepare to be let go as profitability is the only thing that matters.
