Pros

It is a job that has benefits if you work full time

Cons

My District Manager GROSSLY misrepresented to me the income I would expect. Training is SUB-PAR if I want to be REALLY nice about it. The comission structure is fine, but the way it was described to me does not at all show up in how people actually get paid. Overtime is kept to a minimum, which is fine, but I was often told to leave before getting to even 40 hours. The benefits are pretty mediocre, there is an absurd amount of busy work.

Pros

There are no pros at all

Cons

I could literally write a book about all of the cons you will find at Wireless Express. Let me start off by saying that this is the worst company that I have ever worked for. The stores that they own are all NASTY, stained ripped carpet, smells, leaky roofs, grime covered bathrooms, displays from 35 years ago that are duck taped to keep them from falling apart, and thats just scratching the surface. Management is incredibly disconnected from what really happens in the stores. Goals are hard to hit especially in low traffic locations. EVERYTHING is marked up so high that you literally have to beg people to buy the crap. Promotions and raises are something that will never happen. While working for this company I went through 3 different store managers and I couldn’t even tell you how many sales reps and techs. Most of the people that they hire are completely unqualified and have no earthly idea what they are doing. Charge backs are something that happen quite often even when it is something out of your control. If you are planning on applying think again. I would rather work at the gas station than ever work for this company again.
