Such a great place to work! - Service Delivery Manager Wirehive Employee Review

Before I joined Wirehive, over 1 year ago, I was optimistically cautious about all of the great things I read and was told in the interview process. I am pleased to say that those things were more than delivered! The level of technical ability throughout the company is extremely high; from sysadmin and engineering all the way through to office manager. Wirehive have some truly incredible individuals who spend their personal time building and making 'shiny things', racing drones, leading local search and rescue charities, and so much more. The office environment is relaxed, you get all the benefits and culture of working at a modern creative agency, which is extremely rare when working for a highly technical cloud services provider. The company is led by an incredible team of directors, each brilliant in what they do and much more. They live and breathe cutting-edge technology and are extremely personable and approachable. In previous companies, I have looked at time spent at work as a drain and offset that from my personal time, but now I truly do love Mondays and go home each day feeling great about what I’ve done. My colleagues have quickly become friends, and we spend many hours together outside of work and during break times. There are a new fun and games to play every month, even Cards Against Humanity (have you ever felt comfortable enough to play that with your work colleagues?). On top of all of this, I have a great feeling that this doesn’t need to end anytime soon. The ambitious growth and Wirehive’s plans for the next 3 years are looking very exciting, we’re really going places! ..starting to wonder if there’s a character limit. In summary, the day-to-day work is awesome - we’re all empowered to make a real difference. All staff are carefully matched to our core values to preserve the culture, so everyone gets along so well. Finally, the whole team here truly care; about the big picture and individuals. I strongly recommend Wirehive to anyone lucky enough to be considering a role here!
