Pros
Was a loving, fun, connected environment. Every location varies, some had potluck days, some had days where everyone would wear the same colour, they had uplifting programs and opportunities to grow with the company. They will even invest in education.
Cons
When management changed it spoiled the energy and made the work environment miserable to be in. Every long time worker left, including 10+ year staff. They also took advantage of me, they kept me written down as part time, but I was working full time hours every day, in every department and picking up the slack for others, yet reaped no benefits of a full time position (I.e., benefits, bonuses, etc). Someone was hired, did absolutely nothing (I would cover their area because everything needed to be done before we could leave, I also enjoyed keeping everything clean and helping others throughout the day) and got promoted in 3 months. I was there for almost 2 years at the time, worked every department, won awards for my excellent service, asked to be team lead on new programs for my leadership and warm, supportive, friendly energy (which I agreed and joined), yet was never promoted or given benefits at the least. Was being paid around $10.30/h after 2 raises.
