Pros

When I came to WingSwept, I was looking for a company that I could invest in, care about, and grow within. When you are in college, you may hear the advice “Don’t take the classes, take the teachers”, and it’s true. The best teachers are the ones who inspire you, shape your life, and give you a vision for your passion. After being in the workforce for some time, I realized the same is true of a company. While your job description may change and evolve, if you are with a company that genuinely cares about quality products and quality employees, you will find that you are growing not only as a professional, but as a person. That has been my experience at WingSwept. This is a realistic company. Leadership understands that results take commitment, focus, and effort, and they require those things from each employee. But they never require those things at the expense of the person; rather, they place a premium on knowing and caring for their employees, often to a surprising extent. Leaders and co-workers in this company go out of their way to care for one another, and the leadership team lead by example. The company culture is special here. You know you are valued at this company, and working here is also a lot of fun! Management always welcomes new ideas for fun activities, ways to celebrate achievements, and ways to create spaces to spend time with co-workers. This really is a great place to work. If you are committed to personal integrity and you like a challenging but fair work environment, WingSwept may be a great fit for you.

Cons

WingSwept has a balanced business plan. They are a very stable company, but aren’t afraid to try new things. If you have the opportunity to be involved in a new effort, be prepared to be flexible! But at the same time, management will always be supportive and ensure that you are fully equipped to do your job.

Pros

I've worked at WingSwept long enough to say with confidence that this is a company that actually practices what it preaches. The leadership team runs the business with a clear mission and genuine care for employees' professional and personal growth. The culture stands out. People play ping pong on breaks, organize sports at lunch, and actually look forward to the monthly company lunches. The break room and patio are always in use. It sounds like a startup perk list, but it's been this way consistently — it's just part of who the company is. Being partially employee-owned through the ESOP gives everyone skin in the game, which creates a different kind of accountability and pride in the work. The company also prioritizes giving back — regular charitable contributions to local organizations and volunteer events that employees can participate in. The work itself is solid too. WingSwept operates as an MSP/MSSP with a strong security and compliance focus, and there's also a product development side of the business. There's real technical depth here, not just break-fix work.

Cons

With growth comes growing pains. The company has expanded significantly, and occasionally the infrastructure — processes, documentation, role clarity — is still catching up. It's getting better, but if you're someone who thrives only in highly structured environments, be prepared to help build some of that structure yourself.

Pros

The people of WingSwept make it great. The work itself is challenging and fast paced, but if you like to learn and grow professionally it can be very rewarding as well. There are tons of cultural elements to the company and no matter what your interests there are lots of ways to plug in with others.

Cons

Occasionally someone who isn't cut out for WingSwept makes it through the rigorous screening process and is hired. Typically those folks aren't interesting in upholding the core values at WingSwept which are Honest, Eager, Accountable, Respectful & Team Player (HEART). Leadership is clear on this with each new hire that those core values aren't optional or aspirational. If you aren't going to be able to live up to those then WingSwept isn't the place for you.
