Pros

-Long term tenure for engineers for sales support -Great people, who have been with the company for decades -Work life balance is great -Wind River has been a leader in Aerospace and Defense for over 4 decades -Good benefits

Cons

-The culture is gone- outside leadership coming into the business -Major comp plan changes-pay is in favor of leadership, not the people who drive the revenue -Series of layoffs in the past 2 years -Behind in technology edge and cloud platforms -Five + years ago, this was 5 star company to work for, today it is a 2 star.

Remote due to Covid, so not a lot of cross functional team opportunities

Cons

Lots of staff changes and layoffs Culture changed since Aptiv acquisition. Just the feeling is different Benefits shrinking. Things like eliminating a couple weeks of wellness shutdowns and starting to add copays to individual insurance. Reduced chance of bonus payouts
