WinCo used to be a place where employees collectively worked hard and it paid off, whereas now it's a place where more and more demand is made for employees while cutting their hours and paying them less than their competitors. WinCo used to have a culture where if you worked hard and wanted to learn, you would be promoted. Now, they focus on recruiting from outside the company.
