It is nice to truly feel as part of a team! I like that Wimmer is continuing to provide additional training, engagement and networking events with other field employees. My questions are answered promptly by reaching out to my main point of contact. On top of all of this, I have always been paid on time! The company values are a great match for my personality and work ethic!
Cons
Wimmer is not perfect, but no company is. They continue to work through process kinks as they grow as a company. I, however, have not been impacted significantly by any of these kinks. :)

It's a primary goal of ours to ensure that every field employee feels like the important part of the Wimmer team they are, and we are always looking for feedback to improve that. In fact, right now we are working on developing more events and opportunities for field employees who want to connect with other subject matter experts or practitioners of specific technologies. There are two parts of the company, the internal support team and contract employees. While there are good opportunities in contract work, the internal team has many issues. The company has a very bad culture of creating high expectations with no direction from leadership. However, those who go outside their job description and work 60-80 hour weeks get put on a pedestal, and everyone gets compared against them. The last element would be integrity from leadership. They went against their word on promising commissions for the deal support teams after we had won opportunities.
