Pros
Flexible Hours Minimal Supervision Friendly atmosphere Get to do actual chemical experiments, learn various scientific instrumentation and work with your hands to build custom parts (mostly metal working, some carpentry skills) Health Insurance is paid for by the company (subject to change with Obamacare).
Cons
Paychecks are often late (up to 1-4 weeks) Little direction is given, while company improvement is expected Drones could do a lot of the work, I was constantly fighting boredom while running some experiments. Work with dangerous and noxious chemical (no company life insurance)
