Based in City of London. If you cannot get into midsize or larger firms then it is a good place.

Old boys network. Not very professional. Scheming partners and incompetent managers. Senior staff are aloof and do not know how to communicate. Pay is satisfactory and lack of training/opportunties. Encouraged not to spend their money. Cannot ask for help as, some colleagues would put down billable time for that help. In some instances, they would put down say ten mins for helping you for one minute.
