Pros

Lots of opportunities to make positive changes. Great teams of people to work with. If you have an idea, your ideas can become reality. The Hourly employees have had a better bonus program this past year than the salaried team. I have never seen that before! But I think it was a great example of holding the leadership accountable.

Cons

Still some good-old boys mentality left over, but getting better. Some times we hang on to non performers too long and try to hard to fix them... This only makes good performs want to work less hard.

Pros

I like that we're in one building now but that has its pros and cons

Cons

We spent a ton of money building a new manufacturing facility in Saint George, UT. Problem is, we're losing to competition. They're doing it faster and cheaper. Our costs are much higher, our quality is no longer that much better, and competitors have quickly caught up with our ideas. Management cries about competitors stealing our IP rather than innovating and staying ahead of the curve. We're losing to the competition and I'm afraid layoffs and further downsizing are imminent.
