Pros
Working for Wildkind, you're part of a hugely talented, ambitious, collaborative and supportive team. There is a real focus on personal development to enable to team to be and feel at their best, and the focus and communication of the shared business goals make it clear where the business is going, and how each member of the team can play their part in reaching that destination. This, from my experience, is pretty unique. Lots of companies talk the talk, but Wildkind walks the walk. Seeing thousands of people experience real joy at our events is hugely gratifying. It makes all of the hard work worth it, and really motivates you to reach even higher for the next event. Working in events has been a bit of a change for me, so I have had some confidence issues and knowledge gaps, but having discussed those with the team I have been given the support and training I need. The work/life balance is awesome, and the team socials are really carefully thought out. The summer can get intense, of course, seeing as that's when our primary events are, but it balances out.
Cons
I don't personally have any cons, but something worth highlighting to any potential applicants is that as our current primary events run over 3 consecutive weekends in the summer. The months before events are highly focused, and once the events are in action there is a period of a month in which you may be required to work away from home / on site across weekends. If you want to take your holiday in July / August / September, just keep that in mind. We do get time in lieu though!
