Pros

I've been a part of the Wildkind team for towards a year now, and have already had substantial opportunity to grow and take on new challenges. We are at a really exciting point in the organisation's journey with a lot of potential moving into '23. The Wildkind team dynamic is ambitious, open and supportive - we all take pride in our work, while having fun along the way. Each voice is heard and respected. Wildkind produces meaningful experiences that allow people to try new things, push boundaries and authentically connect with themselves and others. Through this an incredibly strong community has developed.

Cons

In the build up and during live events the working days can be long - but this is coupled with the pride in producing something brilliant! We are ambitious and can move quickly, so it's important to learn fast.

Pros

Working for Wildkind, you're part of a hugely talented, ambitious, collaborative and supportive team. There is a real focus on personal development to enable to team to be and feel at their best, and the focus and communication of the shared business goals make it clear where the business is going, and how each member of the team can play their part in reaching that destination. This, from my experience, is pretty unique. Lots of companies talk the talk, but Wildkind walks the walk. Seeing thousands of people experience real joy at our events is hugely gratifying. It makes all of the hard work worth it, and really motivates you to reach even higher for the next event. Working in events has been a bit of a change for me, so I have had some confidence issues and knowledge gaps, but having discussed those with the team I have been given the support and training I need. The work/life balance is awesome, and the team socials are really carefully thought out. The summer can get intense, of course, seeing as that's when our primary events are, but it balances out.

Cons

I don't personally have any cons, but something worth highlighting to any potential applicants is that as our current primary events run over 3 consecutive weekends in the summer. The months before events are highly focused, and once the events are in action there is a period of a month in which you may be required to work away from home / on site across weekends. If you want to take your holiday in July / August / September, just keep that in mind. We do get time in lieu though!

Pros

I joined the Wildkind team full-time in April ‘22 and it’s genuinely one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I came from a cross-industry Operations background, and feel that this diverse experience is celebrated. Where there are gaps, support is given to deepen our knowledge, expand our skill-sets and push our development. The work is varied, exciting and we are encouraged to be our true, authentic selves at work. Having worked with a spectrum of companies in my career, I can honestly say it's the most 'me' I've ever felt in the workplace. I feel fully supported by both the founders and all team-mates with both challenges and ideas. For once in my life, I love being asked what I do and talking about my work - that feeling is incredible. Our events and experiences mean so much for so many, the sense of community is truly inspiring. Seeing our collective efforts come to life onsite makes all of the hard work worthwhile. There's so much potential for the future of the Wildkind brand and I'm looking forward to being part of it for many years to come.

Cons

During the run up to our summer events series and during the live events themselves, hours are long. We run three weekends in a row, with certain roles needing to be onsite for long stints. You need to be completely committed, reliable and dynamic in this period. Luckily the team is genuinely supportive and it brings the team closer together.
