Pros

You get decent pay for the industry.

Cons

Constant back and forth with upper management. You receive training that is aggressive sales training. Constant micro- management from upper management. Extremely hard to complete your daily task from all the meetings you have to be in about sales and the company direction. Constant employee turn over in employees.

Pros

The Pay Was Decent. My Coworkers were great people.

Cons

Zero Work Life Balance - Expect to be kept after 5pm on a regular basis while the owner keeps talking during DAILY HOURS long meetings with zero regard for our lives outside of work. The job was listed as having a "flexible" schedule but in practice that doesn't exist. Working from home is never an option. Constant Micromanagement - The owner of the company is the worst micromanager I've ever worked with in my decade plus of work experience. She wants daily reports of how you spent your day and shows zero trust to actually allow her employees to work and function as successful adults. She will constantly attempt to make you feel like you are a failure and bad at your job based on her feedback and constant judgmental attitude. You will be treated like a child and told often that the owner could do a better job at your role then you do. Mind-Games - Do you want to work with an owner who verbally threatens your job? Do you want to sit thru weekly 4-6 hour "meetings" which consist of her telling you everything you do wrong? Do you want to work for a company that thrives on breaking you down as a person? Do you want to constantly DREAD going back to work the next day and lose sleep? Then this is your PLACE. I could keep going but Wild Ridge amounts to an owner wanting to be a tyrant over their kingdom. They will say they are trying to "develop" you which amounts to emotional manipulation. I felt like I left a cult when I was finally done. Look up how many ex-employees they have on LinkedIn and see how short nearly all of their tenures are. The company cycles through employees on a nearly yearly basis for a reason. STAY AWAY

We appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective, though this review does not reflect the experience of the many long-tenured team members who continue to build their careers here at Wild Ridge. To clarify, the company is very transparent about expectations during the hiring process. We are a high-growth organization, and with that comes a fast pace, frequent collaboration, and ongoing development. Not everyone is looking for that type of environment, and that’s okay. For those who are, the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally is unmatched.
