Pros

I love my job at Widepoint and I see myself working here until I retire. As long as you do your job theres no questions asked. No hovering or anything which I like and everyone is really nice!

Cons

Sometimes raises are hard to come by but as long as the company is doing well then theres nothing to worry about!

Pros

Former supervisor was cool. He did what he could to make me feel accommodated and welcomed (that went out the window when he left). It's a chill enough environment. It's an easy job to do, but even easier if you have previous data entry/clerical experience.

Cons

Literally no one knows what they're doing, yet they'll make it your problem. They'll get upset at you if you assume something incorrectly, but then when you ask questions, they'll hound you for not instantly getting it. They interpret mistakes, miscommunications, or any reasonable inference made from what little info they provide in the most bad faith way possible. They won't ask if you're confused on something or ask you to clarify what you mean. They'll just look down on you and assume you weren't properly trained, or you don't care to do your job right. Which is funny because the ones looking down on you as an OC often make similar mistakes when contacting carriers or escalating issues. Some will take a month to get back to you about an order, yet you'll get needled more despite constantly following up with them. The boss was not upfront about what was required to be onboarded and seemingly changed everything once my supervisor left. I was supposed to be onboarded after completing specific security clearance, now it had to be a minimum of 6-8 months plus extra security clearance and performance review (even though their perception of that was untrustworthy). It was meant to be a hybrid position, but now it became indefinitely onsite, which was inconvenient for multiple OCs, myself included. It was not a welcoming environment, and it got worse after the previous supervisor moved to a different position. Barely anyone talked to me or checked in beyond telling me what I did wrong. People gossipped about me and said unfounded things behind my back, which my other supervisor and boss took at face value. I understand if people were just equally frustrated about their job, but I did my best to be polite and smile and focus on my work. So being immediately singled out and talked badly about made the environment unsafe to work in.
