Pros
I am about to enter my third year of college and I specifically moved back to Boulder about a month ago so that I could work at Whole Sol for the summer and beyond. It’s the perfect job for me - energetic, fast-paced, busy and consistent. I have always felt well informed about opportunities to grow within the company and have been able to do so within the 5+ months that I’ve worked for the company. The internal pay structure was recently changed which now means that even entry-level employees have an hourly wage guarantee that is well above the Colorado minimum wage. Employees are able to connect with their coworkers during shifts, work together to provide the best possible customer service experience and make delicious, high-quality food while doing so. I’ve met some of my best friends within this company and I love this job so much!
Cons
The only con that I would give is that the fast-paced and busy work environment is NOT for everyone. Those who feel anxious or overwhelmed in high-stress positions will not necessarily thrive within the company. While it is the right job for my personality type and work style, it may not be best suited for everyone.
