Pros

I Started as a freelance/part time creative writer working 3 days a week, after 6 months I was offered a full time position. I never wanted to work full time in an agency-even turned down f/t positions from world renowned heavy-hitting agencies. There's no micro-managing at WHOSAY. They foster free-thinking, motivated creatives. They understand that our minds don't always work on a linear basis. I love that there are so many woman. The CEO is a motivator who treats every employee like they are the most important part of the company. Great work gets called out and recognized -even if the proposal doesn't sell through.

Cons

They don't keep baby wipes in the bathroom.

Pros

At least there are snacks!

Cons

From day one, the place lacked leadership. They operate with big, lofty ideas but don't have the driving force to encourage employees to work as a team and most of their upper management was barely around for team building, education & overall morale boosting. There is no community, only cheap snacks to get you through the work day. They still operate like a small start-up, but have champagne taste when is come to expensing campaigns to appear "high-end" and "exclusive" while keeping up with the competitive market. However, the investments in employee value, company expansion and true team collaborate is short changed and dismissed. If you are looking to join the Mean Girls club that is rich in a gender normative structure and sub par diversity advancement for very little pay, this is the place for you.
