Pros

Market pay at start, limited increases after except if you are close to partners 2 weeks of company shutdown in July and year-end Most clients are decent (just messy books/records)

Cons

Lots of backstabbing and toxicity is allowed Several (not all) partners micromanage the engagement and blame the manager if something goes wrong and take credit for all the good things Some staff get away with murder because the partner likes them and manager is left picking up the pieces No real vacation for manager and above, usually 1-2 weeks of the oversold vacation is lost because you are so busy throughout the year
