Pros

The commission is uncapped but targets are high so achieving the commission is extremely difficult. Some of the clients are lovely and you can build genuine client relationships.

Cons

Where do I start The technology used within the sales system is archaic, there are so many gremlins in there we are having to go through several screens to do the most simple of requests and enquiries. Many orders turn up to the clients, damaged or late causing great stress to a already stressful sales process. The sales process feels disingenuous and at times immoral - The company is making 25-50 million a year on art work which has such a high mark up they are literally printing their own money. Staff moral in my personal experience is through the floor. I don't know a single employee who is happy working for Whitewall except in the training and HR division and upper management. Basically Lichfield. They have no idea how to treat staff stall and simply don't care that it's rare for anyone to last longer than a few months in some cases days !!! The artwork is in some cases mediocre but hyped up and then the price point constantly raised to drive demand. It's incredibly corrupt as this is not affiliated to the actual real art market. They drive the price up themselves - it's essentially a huge con.

Pros

I worked at Whitewall galleries for 4 years, in that time I had exceptional mentors, and a amazing team. This is a company that cares about their employees and there is unlimited opportunity for growth, should you wish to move into different avenues within the company. They care about their clients and go over and beyond to make their staff happy. In my experience it is the individuals who come in with catty bad attitudes that turn over quickly as that type of mentality is not tolerated. Hard work is 100% expected but you are given time to develop your skills and frequent training and feedback is offered.

Cons

Starting pay is slightly low but a great commission structure compensates that straightway. Generous raises are given once you put in your time as they value hard working staff.

Pros

Nice environment to work in in visually, no uniform and nice clients

Cons

High sales targets, slightly odd head office culture with a tendency to push rather than encourage. Limited editions not really limited editions ie continuous slightly altered runs. I personally had a conscience crisis selling these - good for tough nuts with no ethics
