Jim, as a teacher, always emphasizes the importance of communication. He never hesitates to pick up the phone and jump on a call with a client or collaborator. He encourages his models and employees to be on constant communication, so we are all in the loop on what is going on. Jim allowed me to sit in and take notes on many of these calls. He even trusted me to speak directly with talent to coordinate meetings and provide updates on various bookings/castings. Jim is very encouraging as a mentor. Furthermore, as long as I communicated that I wanted to learn, he would sit down and teach me.
