Pros

Although terribly outdated, their product solves/enhances critical functions & workflows for their end-users. They also pay on time, although they do everything they can to undercompensate you regardless of whether they give you triple the workload or responsibilities they hired you for.

Cons

It's a sinking ship with poor, and/or vacuous and ungrateful leadership that insists on demanding the most from their staff, then give nothing but silence when you deliver.

Pros

WhereScape is truly revolutionizing the data warehousing industry. The technology and engineering teams are fantastic, everyone is incredibly hard working and driven, great pay and work/life balance, and all employees are remote. Upper Management is incredibly supportive. No micromanagement and everyone all the way up to the CEO is happy to help and make sure you succeed. I can honestly say this is the best place I've ever worked and have no intention of leaving.

Cons

The only downside is that many people aren't familiar with data warehouse automation yet.

Pros

Sadly, there are no longer any!

Cons

Roll back 3 years and WhereScape was the place to work (hence some of the great earlier reviews). People joined and didn't leave. As soon as there was a vacancy, it was filled very quickly - generally by people who knew and loved the software and team. Then came 2019 when WhereScape was sold to the Idera Inc group of companies (I suggest reading some of the Glassdoor reviews for this company, too). From this point onwards, everything went steadily downhill until now where WhereScape is no longer the leader in the data automation space and the vast majority of the original team have left the company. The Idera model for onboarding new companies after acquisition is discussed at great length in other reviews, but needless to say that it didn't work for WhereScape! The net result is outdated software, low morale amongst the team and a huge win for the competition - who have taken advantage of WhereScape's decline. So, join at your own peril! NB - the company information above is out of date. Mark Budzinski hasn't been CEO since 2019 and the the company HQ is now in Texas.
